Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt Certification Training
Master Black Belt is the highest level of certification in Lean Six Sigma. To enroll in Master Black Belt training, candidates must be a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt or at least completed Black Belt training and completed at least 2 projects using Lean Six Sigma with increasing complexity. LSSE will accept Black Belt training from other reputable organizations.
The Master Black Belt course will mainly focus on providing the soft skills required to be successful as a Master Black Belt. After completion of this course, candidates will be able to identify and implement complex enterprise-wide lean six sigma projects. You will be equipped with tools to address most complex Lean Six Sigma projects.

Ā Master Black Belt Certification Requirements:
- Must be Black Belt certified (Black Belt trained candidates can still attend the training)
- Complete LSSEā€™s Master Black Belt class room training
Teaching Experience:
- Co-facilitated one wave of Lean/Six Sigma training with a MBB
- Lead trainer for one wave of Lean/Six Sigma training, overseen by a MBB
Mentoring Experience:
- At least mentored 2 six sigma projects (green belt or black belt)
- Employed full-time in a process improvement role (Black Belt, MBB or Lean) for at least 2 years
- or
- Complete 10 Process Improvement projects
- Min. of 3 full scale, fully documented DMAIC projects
- Other 7 projects can be small scale projects, does not have to be full DMAIC implementation. It should show how the Lean/Six Sigma tools are used to solve a business problem with results
